So you would like to try fashion modeling?
It can be a great career choice, full of adventure—not to mention being paid well.

There’s no getting around it, modeling can be very exciting and glamorous, at the same time a very competitive, tough business.
Anyone can approach a talent or modeling agency but only the people with the right kind of credentials, i.e. A Modeling Portfolio will succeed in securing
a modeling contract. The modeling portfolio is what will get you signed by modeling agency(s) and hired by clients.

A modeling portfolio is the collection of photographs (6 to 12) that are taken by a professional photographer, to show the model’s range and ability.
These photographs are then submitted to modeling agencies and clients in the hope of getting signed or getting work.

Without having a professional modeling photographer to photograph you, or having a professional modeling portfolio, the chances of succeeding are relatively slim.
However, with a professional portfolio, you can meet the tough and high expectations that modern agents expect from aspiring models.

Do you have the right stuff?

In today’s modeling market there is a need for all types of models, commercial, catalogue, high fashion, petite and plus—size. No matter where you fit in,
you still have to have professional images that show off your overall look. Whether you’re the girl next door, or you have a distinct personality or style,
chances are that you have something that a brand, agency, or advertising campaign is looking for.
